3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Dry Dock poured a clear dark reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, cocoa and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of cocoa, carmel and light earthiness with a crisp lingering cocoa finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
More like a really malty amber ale than anything else - some notes of toffee and caramel, a touch of roasted nuts - a faintly british touch of subtle diacetyl - not much else happening - inoffensive, drinkable, but nothing worth returning for a second pint of.

Malty aroma. Copper red coloured smooth and slightly sweet on the palate with a hint of bitterness in a malt finish.
