3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden with a small foamy white head. Aroma was light and grainy with a faint background of leafy hops. Flavor was light and very balanced. Would call it a British IPA but there’s no toffee tones. It’s largely pale grain off-sweetness with a leafy and lightly citric bitterness that’s very reserved, probably 25% as bitter as a west coast IPA. Finishes leafy and quiet and pale. You sure this isn’t just a pale ale?

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a golden color with a thick white head. Outstanding walls of white lace in the glass. Has a nice fresh hop citrus grapefruit aroma. The flavoring hops are big and green. This beer tastes like it could be wet-hopped.
