Kevin (1765), Colorado, USA Jun 29, 2007 damn man, this is my go to lately. i have had a few gallons to say the least, but i still don’t know what to say. when it is good, damn, it is good. i’ve had a couple of off pints that were weirdly grassy too. overall i love it. it pours a light tan and depending on who pours it i get no head, thin head or mammoth head. so don’t worry. aroma, well, american earthy scent, no weird banana or yeast, a touch of caramel and vinous hop with light grass. one of the better balanced brews i’ve had. granted there has been a couple off glasses, ut when it works, hold the phone mothefucker, i have siome drinking to do. caramel light buttered toffee flavor with a TOUCH OF GRASS, BUT A MUCH STRONGER BITTER BALANCE. THIS IS NOT ONE damn you caps locki. as i was saying, this is not one i really anaylize i just ordewr it drink it and smile. a nice slightly strong session beer. on a side note, i think these guys could do a good 3.4ish session, i hope thye try it at some point. ratman197 (2174), Arvada, Colorado, USA May 27, 2007 On tap @ Dry Dock poured a lightly hazy amber with a large lasting ivory head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and some light fruity notes. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, light fruitiness and a light hint of earthiness with a smooth lightly sweet finish.
