On tap from a cask, at the brewery’s taproom on 11/12/10, Firkin Friday. Has a pale golden hue with a slight green haze, nead (from the cask of course). Aroma hits with pine hops with baseball park nachos, complete with corn chips, queso, and jalapenos. Texture hits the first impression. Prickly and vibrant, yet cold and clean. Taste is magnificent; grassy pine hops combine with green chili / jalapeno tones, but without spice. Just the green veggie spice that those plants innately have. Very Mexican flavor. Perhaps a slight bit spicy when it warms up. Exotic, tasty, somewhat gimmicky but I don’t care!
