COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This traditional Baltic Porter has a big coffee and roast taste. Heightened with hints of caramel and dried fruits, this is one Porter that you’ll HAVE to try!

Tap at Falling Rock - borders on an imperial stout, but is authentic enough to satisfy - black pour with a thick tan head - chewy, roasty, medium sweet - intense flavors bittersweet chocolate, espresso, charred malts - some bitterness from the black malt - very mild berry-like fruitiness on the tail end - nice.

Barrel Draught at Dry Dock Brewing Company, Aurora 14/09/2010 Fruit and some roast aroma. Black a little rich on the palate strong in alcohol fruity and hoppy with a hint of dryness in a bitter coffee roast finish.

Crushed at BSAF 10. Really enjoyed this one. Great example of the style. Roasty and chewy. Had two or three samples of this one. Excellent.

On tap at Avery Strong Ale Fest poured an opaque black with small lingering brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, carmel and light fruittiness. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, carmel, roasted malt and light vanilla with a smooth dry roasty finish.

Boulder Strong Fest at Avery. Black with milk chocolate brown head. Aroma of sweet booze chocolate, roasted malt, light berry fruit esters. Taste is sweet chocolate syrup with roasted background. Slightly oily palate, dry finish. Good but not outstanding, very enjoyable nonetheless.
