3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy pale golden yellow color with straw/hay colored hues and a half finger frothy white head that quickly fades into a thin ring. Minimal lacing left behind.
Slightly zesty, peppery aroma with hints of clove, bready yeast, banana and citrus rind.
Fuller boded than expected with a luscious bready yeast character that adds fullness and complexity. Huge banana presence that slightly overpowers the pepper and clove notes. Not much citrus flavor which is a disappointment but it’s pretty easy to drink, especially during the warmer months.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours like a traditional hefe, with a cloudy yellow body and a tall white head.
Light yeast aroma.
Good, but I’d like a more pronounced banana -clove flavor than this one is giving me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bomber pours a cloudy pale yellow with big fluffy white head. Sweet, fruity aroma of wheat and bread, banana, clove, some guava, sourdough. Medium bodied, very smooth and creamy. Flavor is banana pudding, sourdough, spiced wheat, with a tropical fruitiness on the finish. Quite a nice hefeweizen, especially american made. I am liking dry dock alot.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light wheat malts on the nose, big banana clove aromas, but delicate. Hazy light amber color, big frothy head. Light malty backbone balanced by the spicy flavors, no hop aroma or flavor, no real bitterness to speak of, light and crisp. Lively carbonation, light body, easy drinking, but nice subtle complexities. This beer would stand up to the better German versions any day!

Cloudy yellow, big fluffy white head. Very, y’know, wheaty smelling. Lots of banana, some bubble gum in he background. Flavor is pretty much what the aroma advertises. Nicely fruity, nicely sweet. Good stuff. Thanks to curtis for bringing this one!
