4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Well I’m on my 3rd growler of this stuff, as if thats not sayin enough. Here we go, as the description says huge banana on the nose, classic hefe color, thinner mouthfeel and a perfect carbonation, at least for my tastes. For the style it close to perfect IMO, when your not looking for a hoegarrden beer that’s heavy on cloves, this is awesome. Try it if you can!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at SBV. Tasted 7/11/09. I called this a Wheat Ale rather than a German Hefe because it was made here in Colorado. However, many of the ingredients, particularly the yeast, were imported. Pours a thin head, over a pale yellow (SRM 5) cloudy body.....nose heavy with allspice, clove, lemon, some banana.....taste is citrus, clove, banana....mouth feel is light. A very nice domestic wheat.
