Doug Hyndman’s latest and greatest hoppy war hammer of an IPA. Five types of hops, five pounds in the dry hop - there’s a theme here. Chinook, CTZ, Centennial, Galena and Amarillo join forces, devastating your palate with their bitter deliciousness. Pungent. Clean. Unforgiving. Wonderful!

Really enjoyed this. Great citrus and floral hop aroma. Nice light copper color with some foam. Average weight and feel. Flavors were harsh and strong bitterness with a honey sweetness underneath.

Can from Whole Foods Wine and Liquor in Boulder, 11/26/15. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin head and light lace. Fairly resiny hop aroma. Pine as well. The malts are more subtle, and kind of biscuit and toast in nature. Clean and easy drinking. Medium bodied. Nice, dry close to it. Tasty IPA.

Poured an orange color with aromas of pine, light resin, citrus and some front malt. Flavors are citrus and pine with light citrus decent basic ipa that you can drink everyday.

The initial aroma was very light for an IPA. The pour appeared flat. I wasn't expecting much. But the flavor was full and bright. The mouthfeel was on the malty side even though it's a hoopy beer and the beer left a pleasant lasting after taste.

Can thanks to Joe. Tastes like dry grapefruit hops, resin, lemon, some caramel and bready malt. Medium body and light/medium carbonation. Smells like grapefruit, resin, caramel, and bready malt.

Notes from Denver trip: From HJM Liquors, corner of 32nd and Umatilla. Lots of sediment in a amberish pour, tan head, little bit of lace. Nose is citrus. Bitter. Middle is medium malt body. Finish is medium bitter. Seemed unfinished.

The deScription led me to believe that I was in for a massive blast of hops, but was pretty much on the medium side of hoppiness (hopposity?). That said, this is a good IPA. The mouthfeel is luxurious and the finish is complex and very long lasting.

Pretty good. It’s mild and sweet. Hoppy aroma. Medium body and the sugar is really coming through. Wet finish.

Grand Junction, Co. - College Liquors - 12 oz can. Slightly murky medium orange pour, little to no head. Aroma is non-deScript, slight floral hint if I have to pin it down. Flavor has a slight hoppy bent to it, some muted citrus, a touch of spearmint, some peachy fruitiness. Slightly dull, Mouthfeel is thick enough. Tastes a bit old.
