Doug Hyndman’s latest and greatest hoppy war hammer of an IPA. Five types of hops, five pounds in the dry hop - there’s a theme here. Chinook, CTZ, Centennial, Galena and Amarillo join forces, devastating your palate with their bitter deliciousness. Pungent. Clean. Unforgiving. Wonderful!

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2016 Can sample. Hard to fully evaluate but a good middle of the road IPA. Quite drinkable and one that I would come back to.

Doesn't smell hoppy but very pleasant with notes of brown sugar and caramel. Sweet taste up front followed by shop bite that grows long after the sip. Overall a very nice beer but there's no way it's 100+ IBU. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. can, consumed on 12-23-15. Aroma initially seems pleasant and fresh, but not for long. Citric, hoppy, milky aroma features a tomato scent. Smells like milk slightly past its prime. Pours a clear, effervescent, copper/bronze with a small amount of beige head. Nice color. Produces decent lacing. American IPA hoppiness in the taste. Flavors of grapefruit and light pine. Pleasant but not memorable. A touch of spice in the finish. Smooth and oily in the palate. Medium body. Really pleasant palate effects. Overall, far from special, but it is likable. Approximately average IPA, but that makes it an above average craft beer.

Really enjoyed this. Great citrus and floral hop aroma. Nice light copper color with some foam. Average weight and feel. Flavors were harsh and strong bitterness with a honey sweetness underneath.

Can from Whole Foods Wine and Liquor in Boulder, 11/26/15. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin head and light lace. Fairly resiny hop aroma. Pine as well. The malts are more subtle, and kind of biscuit and toast in nature. Clean and easy drinking. Medium bodied. Nice, dry close to it. Tasty IPA.

The initial aroma was very light for an IPA. The pour appeared flat. I wasn't expecting much. But the flavor was full and bright. The mouthfeel was on the malty side even though it's a hoopy beer and the beer left a pleasant lasting after taste.
