Doug Hyndman’s latest and greatest hoppy war hammer of an IPA. Five types of hops, five pounds in the dry hop - there’s a theme here. Chinook, CTZ, Centennial, Galena and Amarillo join forces, devastating your palate with their bitter deliciousness. Pungent. Clean. Unforgiving. Wonderful!

Appearance: pours with a small dark beige head with some density to it, the beer is a hazy amber color Aroma: grass, faint, pine, Taste: strong malty backbone, some grain, light bitter finish, Palate: heavier mouthfeel, average carbonation, bitter aftertaste Overall: drinks easier than most ipa's with this much malt backbone, not as hop forward as I expect an ipa to be, not bad though and drinks easy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy amber with minimal head. Aroma is citrusy with some sweet caramel malt. Flavor is well balanced hops and malts with a good amount of sweet and bitter. A good overall even keeled beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I wasn’t impressed with the hop flavors here. The aroma was nice with a mixture of pine and citrus, but the body was only mildly hop forward. Bitterness came through at the end. Only an average IPA.

From a can. Pours a cloudy amber and makes a thin white head that makes a nice lacing down the glass. Aroma isn't very distinctive, but a bit of citrus and hops. The 5 hop varieties can definitely be tasted. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from can to glass. Hazy golden aroma and a creamy white head that settled. Aroma is melon, tangerine, pine, straw, caramel. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet with a bitter following that extends throughout the finish. Overall this is a nice ipa.

I love mostly everything from Dry Dock, but I am not super hyped up about this one. It just taste like a really bitter IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma is wood, cedar, earthy, pine, bread. Taste is very woody- but in a really fake way- taste like some kind cedar or pine flavoring- weird. Overall, this is just a bit too weird.

12 oz can. Straight from the can on a boat, can’t comment on appearance. Flavor is bitter hops. Not much else. Solid and tasty. Pretty crushable.

12 oz. can. Appearance: finger light tan head, amber color, clear, ok lacing. Aroma: floral, grapefruit, grass, caramel. Palate: medium body, bitter finish, average carbonation, sticky texture. Taste: light sweet into and un-balanced bitterness that carries the beer through the end. Overall, not horrible, but not well balanced and therefore not very drinkable. Not worth drinking when you have so many amazing IPAs in Colorado.

12 oz can. Tasted on 7/16/14. Beer from Espo.... Thanks. The beer has a funky dank aroma with pine & apricots. The taste is pretty smooth with a good bite of hop bitterness. Pretty clean & dry finish. Overall a pretty good ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
