can. lightly hazed amber honey body with a medium-sized white head. caramel goop malt nose with buttery, musty grasses, moldy citrus fruits and band aids. ugh. basically smells like wort stew: sweet, sludgy amber malt syrup, stinky. add to that a goopy, sludgy, sourish-sweet malt syrup flavor... and vegetable-like bitter hops muddled by a sweaty yeast flavor... accompanied by a pasty texture... god, this is terrible. this is first-batch un-trained homebrewer stuff.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The initial aroma was very light for an IPA. The pour appeared flat. I wasn't expecting much. But the flavor was full and bright. The mouthfeel was on the malty side even though it's a hoopy beer and the beer left a pleasant lasting after taste.

Notes from Denver trip: From HJM Liquors, corner of 32nd and Umatilla. Lots of sediment in a amberish pour, tan head, little bit of lace. Nose is citrus. Bitter. Middle is medium malt body. Finish is medium bitter. Seemed unfinished.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The deScription led me to believe that I was in for a massive blast of hops, but was pretty much on the medium side of hoppiness (hopposity?). That said, this is a good IPA. The mouthfeel is luxurious and the finish is complex and very long lasting.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Grand Junction, Co. - College Liquors - 12 oz can. Slightly murky medium orange pour, little to no head. Aroma is non-deScript, slight floral hint if I have to pin it down. Flavor has a slight hoppy bent to it, some muted citrus, a touch of spearmint, some peachy fruitiness. Slightly dull, Mouthfeel is thick enough. Tastes a bit old.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy, tea colored, webby bone-colored head. Bad can. Resinous, dusty, somewhat catty aroma. A little astringent, very lightly sweet, stiff bittering. Nothing really wrong with this, except that it just doesn’t come together. Thanks to PorterPounder.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this weeks ago, on draft at the brewery so I dont remember the details. However this is the most Hoppy (IBU) beer that I have had to date, I I really enjoyed. The burp afterwards made me think I just ate a bad of hops, but thats what its suppose to do, right. Really good beer.
