Hazy pour with good frothy head. Aromas of pumpkin pie spice nutmeg and ginger. Palate is medium bodied, with no tannic flavors from the pumpkin which is good. Most pumpkin beers are over spices and slightly acidic because of this. This one however breaks the mold and stands out above most of them

Bomber. Very spicy aroma with nutmeg, clove, ginger and allspice as well as cinnamon and pumpkin notes. Pours hazy orange with a thin white head that dissipates quickly an no lacing. Good pumpkin flavor to start with all of the above spices, most notably clove and allspice. Finishes with the spices dominating with a bit of pumpkin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Freshcraft - 4 bucks for a full pint during happy hour - yea, Iíll take that - one heavily spiced pumpkin ale - one of those pumpkin ales where youask, "is there really any pumpkin in this?" - very heavy on the cinnamon and nutmeg in the aroma and flavor - the former adds an intense spiciness, particularly in the finish - oily mouthfeel, medium to high sweetness - if you love autumn spices, youíll love this - just tastes like pumpkin pie mix to me - couldnít finish the pint.

Bottle @ home, picked up at RJís Fort Collins. Pours a dark orange appearance with a light brown head. Quite spicy, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, caramel, toasted pumpkin aroma. Somewhat sweet pumpkin, toffee, vanilla, nutmeg, light apple, allspice flavor. Typical overspiced pumpkin beer but pretty good. Kind of a cool beer.

651 ml. bottle. Pours a thin, poorly retained ivory head, over a clear dark amber (SRM 15) body.....nose is light cereal from the malts, hops hidden, heavy cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, ginger from the added spices.....taste is sweet caramel from malts, heavy cinnamon, allspice, ginger, nutmeg from the spices, pumpkin, finishing slightly bitter, but still sweet.....mouth feel medium, very, very sticky, alcohol warmth present, carbonation low, lightly acid finish. This is a very sweet, very spice dominated beer. The pumpkin is somewhat hidden, but then it often is in pies. This would go well with vanilla ice cream. BJCP 8/3/12/4/7

22 oz bottle. Pours copper amber with a smallish white head that quickly goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is lots of pumpkin pie spices - lots of cinnamon, ginger, allspice and clove.

The flavor is sweet malts and pumpkin with a lot of spice in the finish - lots of cinnamon with some ginger and allspice and some floral notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a solid pumpkin beer. It a little heavy on the spice, especially cinnamon, but I dig it.
