Really enjoyed this crisp, biscuty, and sweet apricot beer. Sessionable and awesome for the summer months.

On tap at Dry Dock poured a hazy orange with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of apricot, cookie and a hint of honey. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of apricot, bread and light cookie with a crisp lingering apricot finish.

Draught at brewery. Pours hazy light yellow with an average white creamy head, good lacing, head is mostly lasting. Aroma is average malt (bread, meal), average hops (citrus, orange), light yeast (dough) with notes of apricot. Light bodied, thin texture, flat carbonation and a slightly bitter finish. Averge duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness with vinegar notes.

On tap at the Dry Dock Brewery Tasting Room. Listed as their Paragon Apricot Blonde. Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of guess what, apricots. The apricots where there but not really overpowering (which is a good thing for me as Apricots is one of my least favorite fruits for beers - that being said, this was not that bad).
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 segfault (103) - Centennial, Colorado, USA - AUG 21, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 29, 2009 Accorinding to the brewery, properly it is called "Dry Dock Paragon Apricot Blonde". Had on tap at the brewery. Pour is a beautiful cloudy light blond apricot color. Seems appropriate! Has a complex apricotty aroma. Has a medium-light body. The flavor is a nice fruit complexity from the real apricots balanced with bitter and just the right amount of dryness. Slight hints of chalk. Slightly floral. I’m not a big fruit beer fan, but this is nice stuff! Flavor is great. Rated 3.5 in Aug 2006 -- Re-rate Aug 2009: Light orangey beer, beautiful apricot nose Just a beautiful beer. Has only gotten better, now a 3.7.

Not bad for what it is and I am not the hugest fan of fruit in beer. This is slightly reminscent of the Apri-hop from DFH. Just with a different grain bill. The flavor is slightly sweet and has some fresh biscuity type maltiness and the fruit flavors that are present are very much there but in the background and therefore are not overpowering to the rest of the beer. Apricot is present, slightly jammy, but not cloying and artifical. Reminds me of a piece of toasted wheat bread with a light glazing of jelly.
