Pours almost a copper color, or cloudy golden, and very frothy. Nose of...surprise! Apricots. I’m not usually a huge fan of fruit beer, but have to say this is pretty good. Easy to drink, crisp and good flavor. The Apricot is not as overwhelming as the nose indicates and is very enjoyable. I could easily drink more than one :)

On tap. Pours a yellow / orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma of fresh apricots and tangerines. Flavor lacks what the nose offers. A bit thin and bready tasting.. Well carbed, but not my fav fruit beer..

Dogbrick (4837) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 25, 2011
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy orange color with a medium white head that fizzes away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of apricots and wheat. Light body with an apricot character backed up by a bit of sweet malt. The finish is fruity and short. Overall the beer is straightforward and slightly above average.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with a strong note of apricot/peach Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Very one-dimensionally fruit-forward. Nothing unpleasant about it, but there’s just not much going on, it’s like apricot soda pop.

650 ml. bottle. ABV 5.1% Pours a short lived, off white head, over a slightly hazy dark gold (SRM 6) body....nose is heavy apricot, with a hint of malts.....taste is light malts with a touch of cereal, leading to a medium apricot flavor, finishing dry with lingering apricot....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation high. The apricot dominate the nose, but is more restrained in the flavors. It is a light beer, best on a hot day. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6
