2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 onceblind (1622) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 8, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2011 On tap @ brewery at 5.8%. Transparent gold, with a Bone white fluffy head. Aroma is biscuity sweet, with just a touch of German hops. Flavor is pretty assertive for a pils, full of pale grains and some bisuityness. Munich malts, slight bitterness, very smooth and quaffable. Not shabby.

Aroma - fresh, mild hop bitterness;
Appearance - golden, fluffy head, laces well;
Taste - light malt front, back has a bold bitterness, finish is bitter yet clean;
Palate - excellent crispness for the style, good body;
Overall - quite refreshing, great for a warm spring day or a snowy Colorado spring storm for that matter.

Tap at the brewery - clear gold - lively pour with a compact head - a bit herbal and grassy up front, followed quickly by a clean, honey sweetness and soft herbal notes - hops return through the middle and lead to a somewhat crisp finish - still, a bit too sweet for my taste for such a low abv pils - no major flaws, though.
