Tap @ Brewery. Deep black pour with a thin light khaki head. Magnificent aroma of chocolaty oatmeal, roasty coffee, and dark chocolate cereal grains. Taste is about the same but a little too roasty. Lots of roasty dark chocolate, a nice tone of coffee, a touch of oats...smooth but roasty sweet. Slightly bitter finish, like a good dark chocolate. Nice oat-y tone throughout.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate, light carmel, light coffee and light dark fruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roated malt, dark chocolate, light vanilla and a hint oif fruitiness with a smooth lingering roasty chocolate finish.
