At Dry Dock with Stephen. Pours murky orange. Aroma is floral and earthy hops, nice big aroma, pine. Taste is pine, raw malt, sticky, pretty nice, but a bit on the bitter side.

22 oz. bottle, sent from robloc303 (thanks a lot, Rob), pours a murky opaque rusted orange with a small white head. Nose brings out a mix of tropical fruits and dank, juicy hops. Flavour is juicy and refreshing, with loads of tropical fruits (mangos and peaches), big resinous hops, dank earthy notes, and a big fat caramel malt backing to hold everything together. Extremely dank, juicy and hoppy, with a mild astringency. Excellent balance. The big malt profile isnít too much in this case, as the hops are boldly positioned. Great IIPA.

Hard to find which beer you had a year ago when you canít ready your own writing. Amber. hazy. Light head. Nice citrus nose. A little heavy. Strawberry cream finish and aftertaste makes it unique. (or me drunk)

From a 22 oz bottle, but Iíve had this many times over the years, mostly from growler re-fills. Pours a cloudy apricot. Sweet and perfume hop aroma. Significant mouthfeel. Flavors of pink grapefruit rind, straw hops, amber malts, light pepper. Overall big, bold, bitter but tasty.

Bottle. Pours a darker gold with smaller head. Floral hop aroma and strong malt flavors. Not overly bitter. A very good double IPA.

Aroma of piney hops some floral. Flavor mostly piney hops. Some malt balance. Palate a but light and watery for a double. Little sweet in the flavor as well. Descent but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 22fl.oz.

[ Courtesy of a generous guy at the Ratebeer meeting point @ DOE ]. Unclear medium orange colour with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange, fruity, mango. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dry, hoppy, fruity, sweet hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130524]

Poured from draft at falling rock Taphouse in Denver. Clear orange. Fluffy white foamy head. Fruit and tropical aroma. Almost a smoky taste there that I think brings it down a touch. Overall nice

Bottle. Pours a murky yellow-amber with a huge foamy white head that leaves a lot of lacing behind. Fruity hops aroma, of citrus, malt, sugar, grass, yeast. Taste is hoppy, starts sweet, with citrus juice, sugar, malt, then picks up a lot of hoppy bitterness. Lingering sweet and bitter hoppiness that ends watery. Nice.
