Pours a blonde hue with a light white head with Aromas of skunks, limberger cheese, and not much else goodness. The flavor is on the sweeter side with a nice bitter finish. A little creamy and a little scary.

Tap at Dry Dock, into a shaker pint. The info sheet at the brewery says glowing marigold with an antique white head. I’ll add that it’s hazy, probably unfiltered, and the head sticks in thick horizontal sheets. Lots of orange, a touch of vanilla, nice tropical notes, mango and pineapple in the nose. Mango sorbet. More grassy and resinous flavor, a little dank, nicely tropical again, mango nice with grapefruit. Resin lingers on the tongue.

Dry Dock is one of Colorado’s many truly excellent craft breweries. This is my favorite brew by these guys. Long before they were a micro brew pub I shopped with these guys for my home brew supplies.
This Double IPA is delicious, has a nice hop nose and is neither uber malty nor too hoppy. Just the right balance. Much less powerful on the palate than Titan or some over the top IPAs. I can have a couple more of these tonite for sure!

22 oz. bottle, sent from robloc303 (thanks a lot, Rob), pours a murky opaque rusted orange with a small white head. Nose brings out a mix of tropical fruits and dank, juicy hops. Flavour is juicy and refreshing, with loads of tropical fruits (mangos and peaches), big resinous hops, dank earthy notes, and a big fat caramel malt backing to hold everything together. Extremely dank, juicy and hoppy, with a mild astringency. Excellent balance. The big malt profile isn’t too much in this case, as the hops are boldly positioned. Great IIPA.
