Flavor is surprisingly a little subdued compared to the nose, an upfront blast of florals and then a slight fruitiness before a total bash of bitterness. Little sweet/malt to back this up, so it’s generally just hop juice (albeit very, very tasty hop juice). If you’re in a hop-jones mood, this is great, if you’re looking for a complex, balanced IIPA, look elsewhere. That being said, it’s still delicious.

Bottle at DØE BeerFest 2013 - Thanks to ??? Cloudy yellow - white head. Nice bitterness, fruity hoppy, citrus, niec malty, cactus, resin, light resin, ok bitterness, cheese hoppy notes, lovely fresh hoppy.

Bottle. Hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus and a little peach. Flavour is malt, fruit, hop, citrus, little peach, little dusty, little pine, little sweet and medium bitter.

Taster poured from a big bottle. Thanks to fonefan at the ratebeer meetingpoint, ØK 13. Hazy, orange-gold body. Smell of apricot and pumpkin. Likewise, the taste profile is made up by sweet fruits, dusty hops and mid-sweet malts. More sweet than bitter to the finish. Smooth and well bodied, mostly hidden alcohol. A decent one, without being too impressive (Copenhagen, 24.05.2013).

Sample @ DØE (unofficial). Nice head with good duration. Color is golden/amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, little caramel, malt and citrus.

Sample from bottle (unknown donator). Cloudy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of orange marmalade and crystal malts, not as "fresh" as I hoped for. Hoppy flavour, medium sweet, not extreme for a double IPA, lacks freshness.

Bottle: &nsp Fiery amber, moderate off-white head, foamy, fairly nice lacing. Big citrusy aroma, hoppy as well. Smells very fresh and vibrant! A bit candied as well. Lots of citrus notes up front, certainly
hoppy but this one isn’t overly bitter. Has a nice enough malt base to counteract the bitterness. This one is really citrusy, semi-sweet, some candied citrus peel and pith. Very smooth. Body and mouthfeel are
moderate. Not a real floral over the top IIPA, nor overly bitter example, but what it does is provides a lot of flavor without being too bitter. Very easy to drink, and one I would reach for often given the chance.

Had at Josh Goode’s bachelor party. Decent amount of bitterness, pine, a bit sweet. Late in the night so don’t have the best notes.

Was not a big fan of this one, it was overly resinous and unbalanced. Tasted sticky, not at all refreshing, and the pine was overly prominent.
