Very jammy, high in malt, lovely verrrry apricoty taste. This is close to what I wish Pyramid apricot tasted like and falls a little short of my fave apricot wheat from Lost Coast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Avery Sour Fest 2014. Pour is clear orange with a small white head and good lacing. Fresh peach juice, stone fruits, light spices, biscuit, and wood in the aroma. Taste is sour apricot skins, salty, white wine vinegar, oaky, doughy, and pepper with a moderately sour finish. Light body with soft carbonation. Poundable sour.

On tap @ Avery Sour Fest 2014. Pours a cloudy yellow appearance with a nice white head. ton of apricot and peaches with a bit of lactic and vanilla. Flavor is pretty straight forward. Lightly to moderately tart. A fair amount of fruit but kind of one dimensional. Moderately sweet. Pretty easy to drink and it seemed to be popular with the ladies at our table, but not horribly complex. I would get fucked up on it.

Appearance: Nice head when first poured, the head dissolved pretty quickly but still slightly intact with a frothy look, there is a lacing left on the glass from the beer, very cloudy golden color, almost opaque, very appetizing color, looks like a fruity beer Aroma: Wow, Apricot is obviously the strongest key note to this beer, the apricot smell is very pronounced, very refreshing smell and seems like it would be a great summer beer Taste: Apricots, apricots, apricots. do not taste any bitterness, it is a very light beer with a great fruit keynote, pretty smooth beer, definitely can tell they use a lot of fruit when brewing Palette: can feel the carbonation on the tongue, apricot aftertaste is where you can taste a lot of flavor Overall: This is a very refreshing beer, fruit beer are one of my favorite therefore I throughly enjoy this apricot blonde. It is nice to actually be able to taste the fruit that they brew with.

Nice orange-yellow color in the snifter. It smells slightly sour and a slight hint of apricots. The taste is lactic and a bit sour with very little apricot compared to their other apricot blonde ale. This is a lot like New Belgium Eric’s Ale but not quite as tasty or aromatic. i actually had to buy a growler of the regular apricot just because.... From a bottle acquired at the brewery. The pour is golden in color with a short-lived white head. The aroma abounds with apricot fruits and pale malts and a low hop character. The body is light. The flavor is sweet with apricot and a honey like character. Low bitterness.

draft. nose is medium acetic acid, mild lacto, medium-high dried peach / apricot / something. prickly, bright acid up front, thinning across the middle. dry up front but leaves lingering sweetness. decent but nothing special. about par for the course with american-made sours.

On tap at Freshcraft. Slightly hazy dark gold with a lasting thin head. Nice aroma of apricot, sour oak, and a gentle funky yeastiness...taste was much the same, light but exciting. Starts funky with light sour oak, but quickly gets fruity and complex, with some dry apricots and a fruity dry slightly sour yeast tone. Fruity and dry, complex.
