On tap at the brewery. Huge hoppy aroma, creamy start, excellent Amarillo hop finish. One of the best IPAís around.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
The beer was a very dark and cloudy red-brown. The head was cream colored and about one inch thick. The smell was like pine cones and pine needles crushed up and held under my nose. I like that! The taste was also very piney, strictly for the hop-heads. The mouth-feel was a little fuzzy and tingly. very good stuff but totally not worth the $10 they charge for a growler refill. Oh and they short-filled my growler! :(

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great little tasting room in a do-it-yourself brewery in the back of a homebrew shop! Ah, this is what dreams are made of. The IPA was orange colored and full of fresh hop aroma. Hop flavor dominates this beer, with malt coming through in the finish. This IPA isnít overly bitter, but very aromatic and citrusy. A good session beer.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Refreshing after a 10 hour drive to the front range. Perhaps my relief at arriving influenced and inflated my rating, but this was the perfect relaxing summer beer. Sweet with hops barely tickling the back of the tongue on the way down.

This medium amber ale produces a wicked intense aroma of grapefruit- one of the best aromas I have ever encountered, exceedingly mouthwatering. The flavor sings of northwestern hops- Cascade, Chinook, and Amarillo combine to produce a potent grapefuit and pine taste wrapped in a refreshing bitterness. The finish is zesty, bitter, and clean. This is a damn good IPA, even better than Stoneís.

Draft(s) @ the brewery and a growler a while back from same. Bright copper color in the glass, substantial fluffy head. Nose is dreamy (yes, thatís right, dreamy) - that sticky, citrusy smell lingers and coats the sinuses. Flavor is well-balanced, starts with the sweet caramel malt upfront, which is slowly joined by more of the grapefruit/orange peel from the nose. Surprisingly light on the palate. Oddly finish is a little thin. Great beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewery. A clear pour, low carbonation, small head, iced-tea color. Nice aroma of piney resins, malt, slightly metallic (Chinook?), very appealing. The beer hits the tongue with a soft caress, and flavours of sweet malt, bitter, mild grapefruit, resin on the side of the tongue, slight hay. Develops into a nice hoppy bitterness left on the upper palate (dry hopped with Amarillo, one of my favorites! (Yes, I asked! ) ), aroma of pine in nasal cavity. Nice, smooth, no alcohol heat. Not as dry as a lot of IPAs. I like it.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pint on tap at the Brewery / Bar. Pour is clear copper with a nice head and a fair amount of carbonation. There is very little aroma, though what is there is orange citrus hops. Taste is a really nice full bodied malt and citrus / resin hops. Nice bitter finish, and very drinkable. Nice work on this one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught @ Falling Rock:   Amber with a Golden tinge, slight haze, moderate to large light sand colored head, nice lacing.   Straight up hop nose, very slight citrus peel and grain husk.   On the tongue it is quite good,
flavorful yet not biting, very smooth, mildly sweet.   I am impressed.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Solid is one thing that best describes this beer.   Well balanced for sure!   Recommended!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours orange amber with a medium thick white head. Intense green hop aroma. Candy sweetness. Has a smooth bitter finish making this beer a bit tastier than the ESB.
