Caramel colored body, clear. Crusty caramel malt nose, noble-like hops, toasted grains, bran, etc. Dried orange rind hops, excessively bitter from the Chinook but the citrus from the Cascade is unnoticed. And Amarillo? No way.

Flavor is balanced sweet malt and hops (light bitterness) with some citrus towards the end; semi-sweet finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

Refreshing after a 10 hour drive to the front range. Perhaps my relief at arriving influenced and inflated my rating, but this was the perfect relaxing summer beer. Sweet with hops barely tickling the back of the tongue on the way down.

Dogbrick (4843) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 25, 2011
Sample at the brewpub. Pours a mostly clear orange-gold color with a medium thin and foamy off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, grapefruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and malt. The finish is hoppy with a grapefruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

notalush (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Tap at Dry Dock - clear copper - very malt-forward - crystalline sweetness - clean, pale maltiness really takes precedent over the hops, which or subdued, bland - only mild bitterness and weak hop flavor - clean, but very one dimensional - more like a malty APA - meh.

Sammy (6123) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 11, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Hoppy aroma. Golden colour that leaves a lace sheet. Better as it warmed, and with suitable carbonation, his orangey hop was highly drinkable and a spot-on American IPA.Average mouthfeel.

onceblind (1622) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 15, 2010
UPDATED: NOV 23, 2010 On tap @ the brewery’s taproom on 11/12/10. The chalkboard claims a 6.1% ABV with 63 IBU. Pours a clear gold body, with a lingering creamy white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma of fresh floral hops, and some citrus. Flavor much the same, but with some moderate balance. Pretty well made!
