We use over two pounds of real vanilla beans in each seven barrel batch to infuse this brown porter with amazing complexity and a smooth rich flavor. There is nothing subtle about this beer.

Bottle thanks to Rick. Pours a dark amber ruby with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong vanilla, roast, and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with rich malt and light sweetness. Good.

Bomber. Chocolate aroma with notes of roasted barley and vanilla. Pours dark brown almost black with a thin, light brown head that dissipates quickly and minimal lacing. Sweet chocolate malt to start with toasty flavor and a hint of coffee. Finishes smooth with a good amount of vanilla. Lacks the rich mouthfeel of most most porters, but still very tasty.

Bomber bottle poured a clear deep dark brown hue w/ large fizzy tan. Moderate to bold vanilla aroma. Initial flavor is a light sweet w/ a light bitter finish. Tastes are vanilla bean, light roast coffee, cereal, and brown sugar. Medium bodied, watery mouthfeel - not thin, and lively carbonation.

Bottle from Argonauts, Big aroma of chocolate, cocoa, and great vanilla. Taste is similar, light body for a porter, excellent!

I don’t understand the high rates on this one. Bomber purchased from bubbles in castle rock. Maybe a slight vanilla in aroma and wood. Thinner than water palete. One of rare times I rate a 2 for palate. Not much flavor. Over carbonated

Pours a dark brown with highlights, a finger of tan head with decent lacing. Aroma of vanilla, marshmallow and milk chocolate. Taste vanilla, coffee and milk chocolate with a moderate amount of roastiness. Mouthfeel is watery with a light body and medium carbonation. Needs to have a bigger body and I wanted a stronger porter presence.

The best Vanilla Porter I’ve ever had to date. It had a light to medium body yet came strong with full flavored vanilla and caramel taste throughout. It was almost reminiscent of a cream soda with a amazing beautiful finish. I could drink this porter everyday of the week, I seriously hope they get into making 4-6 packs to enjoy. If you get a chance to try this gem, DO IT!

Poured from 22oz bottle. Pours dark cola brown with very little head. Aroma is vanilla, vanilla and vanilla. Taste is vanilla and a bit of cocoa. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, but otherwise a very good beer.

Bottle thanks to Doodler, thanks! Pours a dark bay with a grayish yellow brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong vanilla note with a bit of baking roasted malts. Flavor starts with vanilla but has a good amount of roasted malts in the finish and just a touch of bitter chocolate.

bottle shared by dere. pours near black with brown head that dissipated. nose is a good amount of roast behind the upfront vanilla sweetness. taste has that same dry roastyness that balances out thew sweet vanilla leading to a drinkable and enjoyable balanced brew.
