Small bottle in Vientiane, Laos. Golden yellow with a fair white head that lingers. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Slight floral attributes. Taste follows on in a similar style with lemon and coriander notes distinctive. Clear, crisp and refreshing. Good carbonation sets if off. Very nice.

Var en stor flaska. Passade fint att bjuda på när jag hade kalasgäster!

750 ml bottle. Lemon yellow pour is capped off by a creamy white head that sticks around. Citrus, flowers, bubblegum and a touch of pepper in the nose. A bit like lemon meringue tart in the mouth with zesty lemon overlaid with a creamy note and touches of pepper and white grapes. Clean finish with a fresh citrus aftertaste. Pretty good really.

Bottled (from Willems, Grobbendonk). Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, passion fruit, and some slight yeastiness. Flavour is citrus, some yeast, fruits, and mild nectar sweetness. Zest. Refreshing, kind of witbier, but with a tropical fruity twist.

Keg at De Zandloper Taphouse, Bruges, West Flanders, Belgium. Cloudy yellow gold with white head. There is a sharp herby, lemony character to this from the start, bitter lemons, tartish then a touch of pear drop. Fresh throughout the beer with a drying note on the palate. Very pleasant indeed.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 9/23/2016. Pours hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, peach, pear, apple, coriander, orange peel, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, peach, pear, apple, coriander, orange peel, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of peppery yeast spiciness and light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, peach, pear, apple, coriander, orange peel, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; with great malt/yeast spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High amount of dryness from carbonation/yeast spiciness as well. High carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, foamy, and fairly creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent saison! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, refreshing, and highly drinkable. A very enjoyable offering.

Good Belgian Ale, nose is of tropical fruits but very delicate. Soft texture and flavour which is nice. Nothing spectacular yet it is really enjoyable.
