Fine head & white lace; hazy yellow-greenish beer. Coriander!!!... fake lemon, ureum. Coriander!! and a bit of malt/wheatsugars. Citrussy, lame. Spritzy, empty, light; Oh dear. Calling this atrocity saison is a crime.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 12/05/16, large sample. Slight hazy yellow color, huge frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, coriander, white pepper, otrange peel. Slight dry and spicy taste, citrussy bitterness, touch of sour. Combi of blonde and belgian white indeed. Ok.

Bottle at PIB 2015, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, floral notes and bittering hops. Flavour is pretty much identical, with floral hops, Belgian yeast and a bitter finish. Nothing special but decently balanced. Okay.

This is weird. Lemon is the dominant note to start, with straw undertones, then piney hops interrupt in the middle. Not my favorite.

Bottle pour. The beer is a hazy yellow with a white head of foam. The aroma is grassy and a little herbal and also has a bit of an herbal tea quality. Kind of a grassy bitterness in the taste. Very much to style for a saison. Not entirely sure why this is classified as a belgian ale. Anyway, medium body and medium carbonation. Could drink this all day easily.

Hazy pale yellow body and large white head. Light citrus, some hops, light coriander and yeasty aroma. Fruity taste. A good beer to drink.

Aroma of hay, some yeast, citrus, coriander, grass, perfumed, spicy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Lacking in Saison funk and tartness, it’s a drinkable beer but a mediocre Saison.

Zeer troebel goudkleurig. Prachtig dikke witte kraag. Vol in de mond voor 6.4%. Beetje citroen in de smaak. Erg aangenaam!

Bottle, bought @YNWA Beershop, Kolding. Pours hazy pale yellow with a very large, creamy white head. Great duration. Aroma has sweet malts, light citrus, white pepper. Medium carbonation, quite dry and a bit light. Flavour has crisp malts, a slight touch of doughy notes, light citric and grassy hops. Fine, soft pepper finish.

Good example of style, but a bit bland. My favorite saison is Monkey King http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/new-holland-monkey- which has much more flavor...especially pepper!

Typical saison aroma in medium levels. Very big and lastning white head over a almost clear pale golden color beer. Nice fruity taste from pears with a low bitterness and low sweetness.
