Fine head & white lace; hazy yellow-greenish beer. Coriander!!!... fake lemon, ureum. Coriander!! and a bit of malt/wheatsugars. Citrussy, lame. Spritzy, empty, light; Oh dear. Calling this atrocity saison is a crime.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes strohgelbes Bier mit schöner großen weißen kompakten Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig fruchtig, Citrus, etwas Banane, Gewürze. Geschmack bananig, hefig, etwas würzig, Citrus, lecker!

Astringierender Geruch, der Richtung Tannine geht. Dazu Koriander und Citrus. Trocken, leicht herb.

Pour is a light hazy blond with a huge white head. Aroma is fruity, yeast esters, spice and a little clove. Flavor is a neutral grainy malt with a floral essence and finishes with a touch of sweet honey. A little orange peel is left after the swallow. A cross between a saison and wit beer I guess. It’s a solid Belgian beer that is plenty flavorful and refreshing.

Pours light hazy yellow with a fluffy white head that calmed down quickly. Aroma is spicy, yeast, earthy and a hint of citrus. Taste is tart and spicy. Light to medium bodied and an overall thin texture. Was expecting a little more texture. Good carbonation leaves a lively crisp finish.

Bottle from Sugaya. Estery nose, with citrus, light spice, coriander. Hazy honey with a frothy white head that gradually diminishes to a flim. Gentle citrus fruit initial, yeast, some sugar, and bittering which slowly intensifies, like a medicine capsule caught in your throat. Thin-medium body. Except for the esters and tiny yeast bite, this is more like a wit / saison blend. But I found it quite pleasant overall.

Bottled at Pothuiske in Mestreech. Hazy yellow color with a small foamy white head. Lively carbonation. Fruity nose. Aroma is very dry and fruity. Flavour is spicey with herbal. Dry bitter at the end.

I had higher hopes for this, as du Bocq usually gets it right. Of the three possible styles , Belgian ale fits the best. Pretty far from a saison, even though that’s what they’re billing this as. For a Belgian ale, its kind of on the light side of the spectrum

Pours a yellow unclear beer with a good carbo white head. Smells lemon, sweet. Tastes the same. Bit soapie. Average carbo, thin body and a sticky texture.

Citroengele kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt zoet, mout, kruiden. Smaakt fris, citrus, kruiden.

75cl bottle. Pours like Blanche de Namur, smells like Blanche de Namur, almost tastes like Blanche de Namur: murky, pale and milky wheat pour. Nose of fresh wheaty proteins, lemon soap, coriander. More wit-style fluffy wheats in taste, accompanied by a spritzy Sprite bitterness, white pepper. Dry enough, spiced coriander seed finish. Rightly categorised as Belgian ale rather than saison: no funk or barnyard whatsoever.
