Fine head & white lace; hazy yellow-greenish beer. Coriander!!!... fake lemon, ureum. Coriander!! and a bit of malt/wheatsugars. Citrussy, lame. Spritzy, empty, light; Oh dear. Calling this atrocity saison is a crime.

Poured from bottle, hazy pale gold with high white head. Aroma with notes of bread, banana, hay and spice. Taste is dry, with a sweet under tone and a medium dry finish. Very nice and fresh.

33cl. Pours hazy golden with thick creamy head. Aroma of yeast and alcohol. Medium bodied, fruity velvety ale. I can see summer. Not a magical brew, but a solid Belgian Ale. Good all around.

Trevlig lättsam i klassisk stil. Passar perfekt till en räk och nudelwok. Den balanserar chilin och koriander. Funkar också en varm sommardag.

Bouteille: Hazy, pale golden, creamy bleached White head; spicy nose of oranges, orange-peel, lemons and yeast; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light bitterness detectable, too, soft and medium bodied; sweetish citrussy-yeasty finish, followed by a fruity acidity. Fine stuff...

Flaska från SB. Dimmigt ljusgul med fluffigt vitt skum. Doft av stall, citrus, humle och jäst. Söt med tydlig belgisk jäst och lite skumbanan.

Bottle, shared with Dave and my wife. Cloudy light yellow, very lively white head. Spicy and wheaty, lots of cardamom, some orange peel. Like a nice dry Belgian wit, but not a saison.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2015 Bottle-conditioned 750ml. Best by October 2015. Pale gold and lightly hazy with a fine and lasting white head. Apparently this is a partial blend of a witbier and the coriander stands out from first sniff. It’s kind of banana-like in the way of esters, fruity and yeasty and chalky and herbal in the nose. Medium body, effervescent and sweet and tasting like coriander and dried citrus peel. So it’s come to this, Belgian breweries are capitalizing on the wave of "Saison" enthusiasts but blending Blonde ale and Witbier and calling it Saison... flavor and aroma-wise this is witbier, it’s soapy, estery, spicy and one-dimensional, and at over 6% it’s syrupy and weighty and I want to stop drinking it.
