( 500ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours clear amber with nice bubbles and great lacing. Nose of alcohol, biscuits. Taste is very hot, cinnamon, black pepper, and clove. Finishes with more heat from the alcohol but nice carbonation.

Bottle 500 ml. Pours light brown with copper reflect. Great beige head. Aroma is of malt and caramel. Taste is the same, plus a little touch of moasses. Of course, that is very sweet. Some carbonation, medium bodied beer. A good beer, refreshing. Bouteille 500 ml. Robe brun clair, avec des reflets cuivrés. Collet beige persistant. Arome de malt et de caramel. En bouche, on détecte une touche de melasse. Le tout est, on s’en doute, très sucré. Bonne carbonatation, assez ronde en bouche. Une bonne bière, plutôt rafraîchissante.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2012 Pours a dark ruby brown color with a big fluffy tan head. Aromas are sweet plum, raisin,caramel and earthy malts .... Initially it hits with a sweet and sour burnt sugar flavor that starts out pleasant but by mid palate there is a fishy almost rancid nut aluminum funkiness that is very off putting...and lingers no thanks.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2012 Bouteille 500mL. Legere odeur de malt caramelise avec un petit cote metallique?! En bouche, c’est plutot mince: malt caramelise. Elle etait meilleure dans mon souvenir...

Bière brune aux reflets orangés ayant un col mousseux se dissipant rapidement. Les odeurs sont plutôt faiblottes, mais on réussi toutefois à sentir le malt et de quelque chose de sucré artificiellement. Le goût me rappelle celui d’un bouillon de légumes, de sirop de maïs, mêlé avec un côté acidulé et âcre, donnant peu de satisfaction. Suis-je tombé sur une mauvaise bouteille? Dommage parce que c’est une des plus belles étiquettes du milieu brassicole québécois. (136-161211)

Bouteille 500 ml. 7.8%. Couleur rousse foncé-brune, mousse beige. Arôme de malt caramélisé, caramel, un peu de fumée. En bouche, malt, caramel, un peu de houblon, un peu d’orge, caramel et alcool. En finale, pas très amertume et un peu d’alcool qui réchauffe. Très bonne.

Bottle. Dark brown with red notes and a thin beige head with ok retention. Aroma is dark fruits, berries, brown sugar, floral notes, herbs, alcohol, and sugar. Flavor is brown sugar, dark fruits, toasted malt, herbal notes and a hint of spices. Medium body.

Étonnante bière brumeuse, couleur de noyer coiffée d’un fin col beige. Elle offre des arômes de caramel, de cuir, d’alcool et de fruits rouges. Bien amère avec une pointe d’acidité et de sucre. Elle est onctueuse et généreuse et donne une belle fin amère et arômatique.

500 ml bottle. Pours slightly couldy, brownish rusty colour, with small off white head, no lacing. Aroma is sweet raisiny malt, taste is similarly sweet, raisin, brown sugar. Not much alcohol or hops. Not bad, not great for the style.

A dark brown ale with a thick moka head, receeding. In aroma, loads of fruity esters, dark fruits, plums and alcohol. In mouth, a smooth nutty chocolate, dark fruits, candy sugar, oily mouthfeel, smooth warming alcohol. Quite nice. Shared with friends from a 1.5L magnum from Fromagerie du Marché Atwater, bought Dec. 24 2010.

Okay thin head and a foggy brown body. Soft malt aroma. Flavour is a very sweet caramel mix with a huge cloying finish. Like sucking down a pure caramel drink. Like pretty harsh.
