500 ml Bottle. Thick layer of large bubbles, slight hazy golden color, looked a bit pink on the poor. Corriander, Belgian yeast, pears sweetness, ripe fruits and a very shy hoppy aroma. the taste is unexpected, a bit more hoppy than expected.. almost no sweetness. lots of carbonation (what you would expect from a tripel) fresh bread flavors and a bit spicy. all this with a dry finish ... the downside to it is that the after-taste is almost not present if it wasn’t for the hops, you wouldn’t have any. otherwise, still worth checking up, I like this style f beer!

Pour is soda pop loud, like a little rushing waterfall in my glass. Colour is hazy golden with a massive foamy white cap that sticks around forever. Nose is...different with every whiff. Ripe fruit, apple, dried grass, lemon, bread dough and yeast, some spice I can’t place. Taste is less sweet than I was expecting. Bread, pepper, lemon, fairly subtle alcohol for the 8%, and a surprisingly dry finish. A pleasant lemony bitterness lingers along with some warmth from the alcohol. I think my bottle is a touch over-carbonated, and I’m not overly familiar with the style, but this was a pleasant discovery. Thanks again, Broue Ha Ha.

Bottle 500ml and on tap. Pours somewhat hazy golden with medium white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of belgian yeast, fruits, malt. Taste is pretty much the same. Palate: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall: A good beer, but a tad simple for a trippel. It’s not really easily drinkable, so I would appreciate more complexity. Still a good option for relaxing in the evening.

This beer was kind of funny in that it poured as almost 100% foam from the bottle. It has a big bready yeasty sweet aroma with light fruity notes. Medium-full bodied with a silky mouthfeel. The taste is bready lemony and sweet. A nice no fuss tripel.

Depanneur Peluso, Montreal 50cl ($6): Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is sugar first, fruit second, and yeast third. More bitter than your average triple. Hoppy bitterness sustained into the aftertaste. Nice carbonated body. Somewhat sweet. A little sticky. Overall, it seems to be well balanced. I liked it.

500ml bottle purchased in Montreal, Quebec. Clear golden in colour with a large and long lasting white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is light spicy, floral, some bananas and citrus. The flavour is creamy, some pale malts, citrus, light yeast, quite filling, light alcohol. Warming mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, yeasty and warm. This is nice, I like the spice and yeast mix in this.

Very pale straw coloured pour. A light haziness. The nose is quite spicy - herbal honeyed character along with a touch of light grassiness. There is a little bit of soft earthiness as well as a touch of fruit. There is a fairly fresh grassy character but the beer lacks a real integration. Slightly vegetal.
