Pours a pale reddish amber with nearly no head. Smells malt with added cheap vodka, although it's allegedly under 5%. The name means oak and hoop and I'm not sure if it tastes more like staves or like licking the hoops. Suffice it to say, I'm pouring the rest of this out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Clear deep golden. Aroma of graininess, caramel, a bit of vegetables, malt. Sweetish flavor with a bit of malt, caramel, graininess, a bit of honey, a vegetal note, and a mildly bitterish finish with a metallic hint. Quite light-bodied.

500ml bottle from supermarket in Vyborg. Clear sparkling light orange colour, medium rocky white mostly vanishing head, hardly any lacing. Moderately malty aroma of caramel, hay and bisquit, light floral hops in the background. Taste is less sweet than the aroma but still on the sweet side with a hint of bitterness in the abrupt finish with a slightly metallic feel. Light to medium body, dry/watery texture, lively carbonation. A subpar lager that doesn’t taste generic but isn’t really that pleasant either, with this level of caramel malts probably a stronger and more diverse hopping would’ve made a fairly pleasant beer.

Pale golden, bubbly head. The aroma is expressed malty (grain & corn). Medium body. The taste has some sweetish notes. The bitterness is very vague. Smooth malty finish. Generally enjoyable beer.
