3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Papsoe (22985) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Apparently brewed from the devils own recipe... Nothing diabolic about it though. The malt provides a pretty, reddish brown colour. Flavour is dominated by the roasted malt. But mainly dry and bitter with a weak, underlying sweetness. Full-bodied and quite nice. 300600

A red-brown beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sour malty with notes of caramel. The flavor though is sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 madsberg (7569) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2004

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - JUL 1, 2004

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 joet (1876) - Fulton, California, USA - JUN 14, 2002
Bitter and very dry. Aromas of musty hops. Alcoholic aroma even though it’s only 4.9% and not very dark -- a medium brown. I’ve got good creamy foam. Not a whole lot there. It’s brewed with hop extract -- no hops.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - MAY 24, 2002
A relatively strong aroma, but a little foul somehow.
Dusty too. The color is clear carmel. A mild, sweet taste
predominates. Slightly bitter and woody finish. Very
thin body - too thin. Large bubbles and no head.
Enjoyable, but this is a cheap beer posing a something
special. Just above average.
