Sampled on draught at the Dubh-Linn Irish pub in downtown Duluth, MN. Pours a clear dark cola brown brew with a thin tan head that slowly dissolves and leaves behind a good sticky lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, some flowery hops and a little bit of sunflower seeds. Taste is smooth, creamy, medium to full bodied, no carbonation with a distinct dark toasted malt flavor. Finish is smooth slightly watery with a more dark malt flavor with little flowery hop character.
