downender (1726), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Sep 20, 2008 Bottle from Sainsburys. Golden in colour with plenty of fizz. Sweet, fresh apples with a short, dry finish. Not much character but an easy drinking thirst quencher. RichardGretton (2746), Leicestershire, England Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Golden cider with a light and not very sweet aroma. The flavour is mainly syrupy sweet with a only a vague hint of dryness. Overall a very drinkable sweet drink. Fin (2451), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Apr 13, 2008 Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Kidlington, Oxon had this 13-04-08 2006 vintage, Light golden with medium carbonation, bit too sweet but there is a nice juciy appleyness, can’t believe it’s only 2.5% even though it lacks on many fronts I would have still said 5%. hughie (2414), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Mar 15, 2008 ’Vintage 2006’. Pale gold. Sweet custardy aroma. Taste is very sweet with nothing much else in the way of redeeming features. Bit short on ABV as well. JorisPPattyn (4638), Antwerpen, Belgium Nov 1, 2006 Whitish head for a few seconds; clear yellow-golden liquid. Dry apples, and appleleaves, or even appleblossom. Surprisingly delicate nose, applejuice beyond that. Sweet crunchy apples with a slight sourish underslung; some cheaper, easy sweet kind as cox orange. Sweet juice, enlivened by the high carbonation. Titilating, even gassy. Sweet, inoffensive cider that almost manages to make one forget its weakness in ABV.
