Bottle 50cl (german beer shape!). A cloudy copper cider with even some head. Nose is on apple skin ans apple juice. Aroma is on apple juice, quite sweet, high carbonated, finish has the note of old grainy apples, anyway pleasant.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Pours cloudy amber with a long-lasting white head. Aromas of creamy toffee, tart apples. Taste is tannin-rich, tea, toffee, light sour apples. I’ve had beers that taste like this! Dry tannin finish.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s Off license. Pours clear gold. A new cider apple to me and it’s rather nice, with a curious French sweetness and scuzzy fizz.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a fizzy white head that rapidly disappears and aroma of tart apple with a hint of barnyard. Taste is tangy apple juice, sweetish, with some vanilla, woody and earthy notes. Slightly oily mouthfeel, light bodied, low carbonatiom, dry finish. Quite drinkable.
