This has been brewed to a special recipe to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee Year. It uses British organic "Sovereign" hops and malted British barley from selected organic farms, including Duchy Home Farm at Highgrove.

500ml bottle from Waitrose, Morningside. Pours clear golden amber, thin white head. Aromas of marmalade, earthy hops. Taste has a chalky bite, sweet caramel, light orange. Thin body, thin finish. Dull.

Hazy deep gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry with mild fine carbonation. Light dry malts, little unsweet caramel. Bitter floralness. Mild bubblegum ester underneath. Mild dry citrus before a dry finish. Not a very good bitter and a terrible IPA!

Bottle from Waitrose. Clear amber body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange marmalade and metal. Flavour of earth and orange. Peppery finish. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Earthy and spicy.

Bottle from Waitrose. Quite a light golden colour, didn’t raise much foam. I guess a fairly standard premium bitter, earthy citrusy bitterness, slightly thin malts, quite sulphury (I’d definitely have said Marstons not Wychwood). Overall, pleasant but a bit insipid.

Bottle from Waitrose. Poured a clear, deep amber, with a good amount of off white head. Aroma of peal, redcurrants and floral hops. Slightly spicy flavours, with brown bread and tangerine. Finish was earth, lingering malt and some grassy hop.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Not a bad one with citrus and hops in the dominance. Mild body, mild finish, thirst quenching and quaffy. Nice one.

Bottle as " Duchy Organic India Pale Ale", bought at Waitrose in East Cowes / IoW. The beer pours out in a clear brown colour with airy low head and medium body. Aroma of bitter hops and herbs. Taste of fresh, bitter hops, light barley, bread, herbs, pine and mild citrus fruits. Refreshing and easy to drink, enjoyed it, although it lacks some body and deepness.

See: Golden orange, one finger slightly off white head. Smell: Malty on the nose. Hints of piney hops. Taste: Hoppy and bitter. Sharp hop taste cuts through from start to finish which gets more peppery as you go on. Slight hint of sweet malt at the front but quickly taken over by the bitterness. Pallet: Resinous and light bodied. Light carbonation with a medium finish. Nice English style IPA. It is hoppy but not the super-sharp explosive hoppiness of American style IPAs. Not a great hit of citrusy flavours but nicely bitter and as you drink on the malt comes through more to balance the flavours out.
