2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Waitrose, Headington, Oxford, consumed at Carol & Haydns Summer party Saturday 30th June 2012 I drank this straight out of the bottle so I’m unsure of the exact colour of this. Malty & fruity with low hoppiness and a slightly metallic twang As expected really, very much the Wychwood stamp on this nothing special.

pours copper brown, minimal head, several active CO2 streams. Medium malts, transitions into a watery body, rough finish in mouth. Finishes medium bitter. Low complexity, low-medium depth, okay transitions, not so good carry, no good drinkability. I only taste malts, quite boring.

500ml bottle. Don't be frightened by the word, ORGANIC! This beer is GREAT! Pours a large, pillowy head - clear tawny brew (Lovibond 13/14). Distinctive scent of gum balls although it's very light. Head and lace persist through the duration of my drink. Tastes amazingly unique. Some of that gum ball sweetness, with a hoppy note for balance. Some mild hints of smoky, nutty flavours which make for an interesting beer. Totally in my favorites!
Some long mildly bitter aftertaste though to trump a perfect review, and the carbonation is moderate to low.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with a light tan coloured head. Aroma is fruity malt, faint caramel, floral notes. Taste is heavy on caramel, and sugar notes. Clean mineral notes, with the standard British hopping, and faint dried fruit, withmolasses in the very mineral finish. Light bodied. Easy drinking stuff.
