2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ReV2 (52) - Northampton, Northamptonshire, - DEC 27, 2012I had this on Christmas day to go with my organic lunch. Fairly bland with not much going for it other than it being organic. Some fruit, some caramel & some hops. I didn’t finish it, not that it was awful, I just wanted something more on this special day. I have a growing number of average beers from Wychwood/Marstons at the back of my cupboard waiting to be drunk when I’ve run out of Fuller’s etc.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Vladivostok (156) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2013
The wife ordered this one with the groceries. Needs slopping from glass to glass - way too fizzy if you can’t be bothered. No appreciable aroma, sweet and rather thin. Not in the least ruby coloured, actually being just on the pale side for a bitter ale. Finish is short and only slightly bitter and all in all, a very disappointing beer.
