mgermani (561), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Apr 21, 2008 Pours a nice, slightly hazy orange-brown with a small but long-lasting head with some nice lacing. Aroma is pleasant, brown sugar and fresh hops. Taste is quite nice, lightly toasted malt and some diacetyl very well balanced by anglo-hops. Good hoppy finish, decent carbonation and quite creamy body. Not a bad bitter!
moelikebeer (93), New Brighton, Minnesota, USA Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Slightly foggy orange/amber pour with little head. Aroma of british malt and hops. Similar flavor. Light body; somewhat watery. gilvanblight (322), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Jul 20, 2008 Deep orangeish red pour with a nice bubbly head Scent of hops and malts, the malts are sweet smelling almost like honey. Very full bodied. Definately malty with a bitter hopped finish. A little too bitter for me. Hat that bite the back of your throat taste I am not fond of. FatPhil (1965), Espoo, Finland Jul 17, 2008 500ml bottle (Sainsbury’s)
Rich orange. Soft sweet aroma. Reasonable carbonation. Some early fruity hops, solid malty body, and late biting hoppiness. Well balanced, overall solid bitter. Oozes quality. martinboer (1297), Amsterdam, Netherlands Jul 15, 2008 Bottle from Whitrose, London. Orange body. Peppery nose. Nice tastes of caramel and wheat. It’s okay. A bit uninteresting perhaps. Syrupy texture. Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber body with a light head. Nice barley sweetness and malty but somehow you can tell its organic. A little bit of citrus orange, some light hoppiness.
