Bottle. Golden brown with no foam. Aromas are biscuit with light apricot jam. Butter and grain with toast and light raisins. Flavours are biscuit and lemon with lager grain malts. Dry on the finish with too much carbonation. Some rubber on the aftertaste. Charles isnít too good at brewing.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle all the way from Waitrose. A malty aroma but has the flavour of a poor 1970's lager with a strange and quite unpleasant aftertaste. Will avoid in future.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled 27/08/12. An orangey gold coloured beer with a whitish head. Boiled sweets notes with caramel sweetness in the aroma. same in the mouth, So obviously pasteurized with the worst characteristics of that method. The only saving grace is a little orangey flavour from the hops.
