(250808) yalnikim (676), Wellington, New Zealand Nov 1, 2008 Tasted 30/10/2008, 500ml bottle from Regionals, while tending to the pilot batch of Yeastie Boys ’Kid Chocolate’. Very very similar to the Organic beer from the same line but with a more pronounced plummy note and less hop character (flavour and bitterness). Again, I think this would be a little better close to home - it tastes pretty tired. cluny6 (75), Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England Oct 31, 2008 Bought as ’Select Ale’, according to ratebeer this is the same as the ’Winter Ale’. POurs a medium copper with small tan head. Looks like you average ale. Notes of grain and sweet. Medium bitter taste with a slight sourness?... Average.
