Smagt 4/5 2008 hos Lars. Klassisk dunkel, let smag af karamel og ellers rimelig mild, fin.

This beer was served to me in Germany and at 1st I thought it was German. Very nice color, good foam and nicely sweet but firm beer. Good taste, beer with a bite.

Tap at Duckstein in Margs. Opaque chestnut pour with a medium, fluffy off white head. Slight nutty aroma followed by a load of roasted malts but not much else. All the roasted malts in the taste with a touch of hazelnut and chocolate. Bit boring but ok quaffer

Sampler tray at the brewery, Margaret River location. Clear, deep coper amber. Low aroma of toast, caramel, and cooked peaches.Buttery toffee malts, subtly fruity, low bitterness. The least flavourful of the bunch, but still enjoyable.

Dark amber color with okay head. Some sweet and malts, but also bitter hops. Watery but okay, its only 4.5%....

Attractive deep ruby amber brown colour with smallish beige head and some nice lace. Fainty fruity sweetness and mild smokey roasted malts with hint of chocolate aroma. Medium thin body. Sweet cola like and biscuity malt, with lighter hoppy bitter flavours. All these beers seem to have a bit of the sameness in the flavour about them - house flavour ?
