Amber coloured beer, ok head, just should hold some longer. Caramel, malts, hops, raisin and grain. A bit weird at the first nip, not totally knowing what to think about this one.

Clear amber of color with a beige head. An aroma of malt, fruit, bitter notes, appels and wet paper. A flavor of malt, bread, appels, weak bitter and a dry finish.

Bottle from Galeria Kaufhof, Alexanderplatz, Berlin. Pours a deep, near-bronze golden body with a small white head. Nose is amber malts, grains and hints of smoke and grassy hops. Taste is wort, grains, dry grassy hops and hints of smoke, dark malts and molasses. Mellow, unexpectedly tasty and original. While I might not have a freakin’ clue about Altbier, I certainly like this one. Lots of taste for a 4,9’er.

bottle from beershop in Dortmund. Amber coloured with nice white head. Smell: some industrial hops. Taste: yeasty, some industrial taste.. a bit disappointing one, because the bottle is great!

Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and grainy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 131111

Some head that falls apart, amber red. malty nose with some hay. Medium body and fine length, dry caramel, påleasant and lightly peaty. Overall a plesant and very drinkable good beer.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2012 Bottle. Amber colour with a tan head. Light burnt caramel and light fruity nose. Moderate burnt caramel flavour.
