Foffern (1168) - Bodø, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2014
On tap at restaurant in Berlin. The colour is clear mahogny with a medium, creamy, light beige head. Has a malty aroma of leather, dried fruit, wood, fudge and some bisquit. The flavour has more malt and is light with wood and some hops, and is a little dry in the end. Has a slightly sour and slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. An okay ale that is pretty bitter. Not far from a British bitter actually.

Mainuh_man (64) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 7, 2014
Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Really mild aroma, some bready malt and nutmeg. Sharp carbonation at the beginning, with little flavor. Middle is a mild, yet pleasant enough malt sweetness. Dry, nobel malt finish that doesn’t linger very long. Overall, but much character to this beer, yet remains non-offensively drinkable.

Shared a 50cl bottle. Pours a deep copper colour with a thin white lacing. Aroma is malty, roasted and earthy. Average to soft carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is not much, but is more bitter than sweet with a dry finish. Overall, an average beer but easy drinkable.

Schmeckt holzig, leicht säuerlich aber fruchtig. Ist in Deutschland eines der am meisten verfügbaren "Edelbiere" für den Einstieg.
