Medium brown color, small head. Light bodied beer. Mild malts and hops, slightly sweet. Mild taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly malty and slightly bitter. There is a mild nutty taste as well.

Fresh crisp, well balanced, clean palate and with a distinguisable herbal hop character. It is a simple ale, but so clean I thought I was drinking a pils.

Labelled as merely a copper-gold premium beer in my local supermarket. Its better than that. This has a nice woody, smokey character. Quite subtle but pleasant nonetheless.

A pleasant, decent enough, but at heart fairly ordinary ale that is lifted above the average by the beechwood maturation process. The nose gives it away - a rancid and really woody aroma that is surprising inviting. There are other notes present - a mild red fruit and a butterfly’s wing of flowery hops, but the damp wood predominates. The wood theme comes back in the taste, but now dryer yet also fresher; a little smokey, a little oily. It is almost tempting to say one could actually identify it as beechwood, but that could merely be suggestion. The finish is extemely long and hoppy - I was still experiencing it over half an hour later. This is not a great ale, but those beechwood chips are well worth experiencing. I’d rate this at 7.

Amber-coloured. Easy to drink. Palm-like. Delicious after some bad german pilseners.

Slightly flat beer but with a reasonable sized head. Overall the flavour and palate was fairly standard for a lager. Slightly watery but overall OK.

As the others have said, copper colored with light malt. Not bad but nothing that stands above the rest.
