Pours a nice dark orange/pale amber colour with small off-white head and pleasant toffee fruity nose. The aroma is toasted malt and toffee with notes of nuts and fruits. Quite nice brew.

Labelled as merely a copper-gold premium beer in my local supermarket. Its better than that. This has a nice woody, smokey character. Quite subtle but pleasant nonetheless.

Light copper appearance, light trailing head with decent lacing. Fresh carame- like aroma and flavor. A beer that you can tell the recipe has been matured and the brewer knows what they are doing. No high peaks or low valleys, just a smooth, easy drinking beer that is true to the style. Maybe a bit too tart though. Good mouthfeel, not too thick, not too thin.

500ml brown bottle. Orange beer, rocky foamy tan head composed of large bubbles. Sweet malt aroma and a light suggestion of floral hop. Intense malt flavour, slightly earthy.Dryish hops in the finish. Mild bitterness. A pleasant surprise.

Reddish colour, medium head. Nice fruity aroma, strong bitterness in taste. Some herbal notes make it quite interesting.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2006 (0.4L from Tap) Good looking copper coloring with a tan head. Carmel flavoring was very pronounced. Also an easy beer to drink. I also wouldn’t really call it an altbier.

Heavy hoppy aroma, a little bit citrus, light smell of bread, light yeast, a little bit smoke and caramel. The head is small, white and disappears fast, the colour is red. Slightly bitter flavor, long duration. Medium body with a dry texture and soft carbonation. Nice one.
