(Rating #492)

Pours dark red/copper with an airy, white head with yellow notes. Hops, malts, dough, earthy aromas. Disappointingly weak, light sweet taste, with some fizz but a great aftertaste of coffee. Don´t drink it too chilled or you´ll miss most of the nuances. Carlsberg claims this beer to be "unique" and "distinctive". It´s not. It´s a pleasant, summer drink, actually. If they had advertised it as that, I´d not been so disappointed.

Ciemno bursztynowe piwo o puszystej ale szybko opadającej pianie. W smaku dominuje przyjemna goryczka. Wyczuwalne są też nuty słodowe i owocowe, całość niestety trochę mdła i płytka.

Strong malt aroma, bread, cereal, roasty, as well as some hoppy, floral notes. Pours transparent dark amber liquid with a small, soft white head. Medium bitterness, different dark malt notes, roasty and earthy in the start, some bitter hops, then gets a little sweet, caramel, chocolate and citrus. Bitter aftertaste. Light body with a creamy, thin texture and soft carbonation. Decent taste with a good facet of malt flavours, mixed with some hops bitterness. Nothing too special.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe - Pours a clear golden copper with a white head. Malty aroma with notes of hops and wood. Flavour is malt with wooden and flowery notes, some earthy hops at the end. Not a style I’m fond of, but not bad nonetheless.

Leicht Malzaromen. Das Buchenholz rieche ich leider nicht. Malziger Antrunk, dann Getrockneter Apfel und Hopfen. Im Abgang sanft bitter. Rundes aber auch etwas langweiliges Bier

Frother occasionally great, but unfortunately the foam disappears quickly. The smell is very spicy and also has an aroma of little raisin and nuts. The taste is sweet caramel malt and a little vanilla. It is a little thick in the mouth and I like it. The bitterness is not too much.
