12 oz bottle purchased at Rip’s in Bowie, MD. pale orange pour with a tiny white head.... very light for an unfiltered beer. apple, pear, citrus and banana nose... not getting any spice. medium body - soft and smooth - could use more carbonation. banana and citrus notes flow through. semi-dry finish with more yeast esters. decent... but far from true style.

355mL. Pours a clear yellow to straw with a medium, bright white, suddy head forming but not sticking around. No lace. Nose is relative to style with mostly apples, pears, and spice. As it warms it picks up a little phenolic clove and old banana. But as it opens up even more, these volatile compounds are replaced by heavy oatmeal and cereal grain...maybe something corny or buttery like cornbread (diacetyl and/or DMS?). Off-character in the nose but inoffensive. Taste is slightly buttery with a soapy palate. Sweet pears try to come through with sweet banana dessert, but this is ruined by big soapiness. Poor palate. Really all over the place.

Strong citrus flavor and aroma. Highly carbonated, light yellow, cloudy, white head... Not fruity, refreshing. A little similar to in heat wheat. Good hefe if in mood for citrus

Part of a 9 piece sampler at DuClaw Bowie, MD. Cloudy yellow, white head. Aroma is citrus and spices. Flavor is tangy, yeasty, and malty. Better than I expected.

Poured a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of bananas and wheat. Taste is also of bananas with some yeast. Some coriander. The banana flavors don’t taste natural. Very drinkable.

Smells of banana. Pours a bright vibrant yellow color. Taste is quite delicious. I taste banana. Tastes like someone put a banana inside. Mmmmm. Pretty tasty.

On tap at Bowie location. Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. Aromas of clove and banana with some light yeast and malt. Flavors of bananas, clove, wheat, and yeast. Pretty flavorful and drinkable hefe.
