Commercial description H.E.R.O. Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter was created by the winners of our first ever H.E.R.O. homebrew competition, Tony Huckestein and Doug DeLeo. This jet black porter is full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and rich malty flavor accented by notes of chocolate, coffee, and peanut butter. This complex flavor profile is balanced by a subtle hop character and moderate 6.5% abv., making this unique beer surprisingly drinkable. The brewer markets this same or near-same product by more than one names. This can be the result of a brewer distributing this beer under different names in different countries, or the brewer simply changing the name, but not the recipe at different points in time.
