Tap mad mex. When I saw dunkel, was hoping for just that. This is different fer sure. Pillowy rocky head. Brownish beer. Metallic aroma. Some metal carries over to the taste. Pretty strong for a beer called dunkel. Almost medicinal. Yes, spices override anything dunkel in here.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a nice red and amber color with a nice white head and lacing. The aroma is pumpkin pie with the usual spice and biscuit for the style. The taste is light pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and biscuit. It is pretty smooth. This was a good pumpkin beer.

Poured from a bottle. Beautiful appearance, clear dark golden, slight head. Spiced aroma like cinnamon, not a real pumpkin taste but delicious.

Pours a clear amber that turns a lovely garnet in intense light. Normal head volume and retention, outstanding lacing. Nice light nose of biscuit, caramel and hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium body with an almost creamy texture. Outstanding carbonation with a nice effervescent middle and a prickly finish. If the flavor profile were a bit more intense, it would be outstanding. Balanced to perfection, the complexity is allowed to shine. Pumpkin makes a subtle appearance in the base, while light caramel and biscuit form the true backbone. Hops and bitterness are hints rather than main components. Spices float over the base and become most noticeable from the middle on but never dominate. The finish is a slow fade of the base with spice overtones.

A decent pumpkin beer, with vanilla and apple notes on top of the usual nutmeg, cinnamon, vegetable and caramel. Pours a cloudy brown with very little head. The aroma is sweet and malty but mild, and the standard spices come through at the end. Nothing special but not bad.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with white head. Pumpkin spices - nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, brown sugar aromas. Pretty strong cinnamon, nutmeg, spice flavors. Spice heavy, probably wouldn’t get again.

Very lager-esque, with a nice spiced finish. Pumpkin is obvious but as subtle as possible. This is pretty enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a clear amber color with a beige head of foam. The aroma is graham cracker, carrot cake, cinnamon. The deacription sounds better than it actually is. Medium spice character that gets to be overpowering the more I drink. Medium body and medium carbonation.

Poured from bottle. Decent pumpkin malt spice aroma. Nice lookin solid dark amber. Nutmeg and cinnamon flavors lead, with pumpkin, herbs and caramel. Feel is a bit mushy, but ok. Good stuff.
