Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a heavily overcarbonated caramel-orange color with an enormous foamy orange-beige head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was caramel, honey, cherry and yeast. The flavor was wood, caramel, apple and tobacco. Medium finish. Light body and very overcarbonated. Eh.

22 ounce bottle thanks to Michelle. Huge carbonation. Malty and caramel with big X-Mas like spicing. Nutmeg. Cinnamon. Pretty decent. Will I finish all 22 ounces?

Bottle:   Deep amber, spritzy tannish head, dies quickly, little lacing.   Very spicy on the nose, cinnamon, nutmeg, a little candied apple and tootsie roll.   Spritzy on the tongue, very spicy, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a little apple cider.   Lots of aroma, and lots of flavor in this one.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, albeit a bit spritzy.   Bit of an apple cider finish, with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little puffed pastries.   Good stuff!

Appearance: hazy coppery brown, with one finger of beige head. Aroma: graham crackery, with lots of warm-smelling spices. Taste: toasty, bready malts with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and a hint of hazelnuts. Finish: long-lasting, with sweet spices and toasty malts lingering. Notes: Not a bad winter/fall brew. Would have liked the spices dialed back just a bit, and the palate just a bit more crisp to offset some of the sweetness. Just a bit unbalanced, which keeps it from being great.

12oz. My bottle is labeled 5.7% ABV. Clear red / brown color, nice cinnamon nutmeg spice taste. Complements the malty toastiness of the dunkel well. Makes for an interesting brew. No head or lace. Soft, smooth carbonation. Clean finish, good spice aftertaste. Little sediment at the bottom. Cool way to do a dunkel.

Poured a clear cola color with a decent sized off white head. Aroma is caramel, bread, grass, earthy, and cinnamon. Taste is kind of like a chocolate covered cherry to be honest with a little bit of a bitter finish. I really liked this one.

Dark honey and cinnamon nose over a dried leaves base. Clear rust, medium yellow head. Earthy with cinnamon accents. Well balanced and enjoyable. Thinnish mouthfeel.

Not to bad, I really like spiced beers so I knew going in that I would like this one, though not the best I’ve had, still decent.

Draft. Pours reddish brown with thin off-white head; poor retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is plums, caramel, spice, and light roast. Flavor is cookie and caramel malt primarily; faint hops and some spicy undertones throughout. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.
