Pours a darker color for a pumpkin. Not a ton of pumpkin flavor. Very smooth with low carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, mine 5.7% abv, bottled 08/08/14. Nose nutmeg and allspice, dark malt, very light cinnamon, light wood. Pours a very pretty dark ruby, fizzy-soapy tan head. Taste sweet but not sugary, light maltiness, touch of pumpernickel/dark bread crusts, lightly fizzy but crisp and enjoyable in sips; nutmeg and cinnamon with a touch of allspice character and general apple cider glazed donuts, dries out a touch to finish even spicier, touch of scratch but not much, light balancing bitterness but I’d like even more. I’d also like an obvious decoction, but we can’t always get what we want. Moderately understated.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a very nice deep copper-brownish color with a small tan colored head. The head fades relatively quickly leaving just a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is heaviest a vegetal/herbal lightly roasted pumpkin smell with a decent level of spice aromas of nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice. Along with these smells are aromas of a caramel and brown sugar sweetness mixed with some hints of a more bready and roasted malt smells. Taste – The taste begins with almost tasting more like a pumpkin porter then a lager. I got a roasted pumpkin flavor mixed with some roasted malt as well as some brown sugar and caramel. As the taste advances the roasted malt flavor loses a bit of ground with the brown sugar and caramel getting quite a bit stronger. The spice flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice, which were rather light upfront, really start bringing it onto the tongue more toward the end. With a little bit of an increase in the roasted pumpkin and some light nuttiness coming to the tongue, one is left with a moderately sweet, but decently roasty and spiced pumpkin flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is thicker and chewier for a brew of only 5.7% abv. with a carbonation level that is on the average side. The thick body really accentuates the roasted pumpkin and spice flavors nicely all while the medium carbonation does a nice job for keeping it easier drinking and complementing the sweetness nicely. Overall, quite well done. Overall – This is a rather nice pumpkin brew with a good roasted pumpkin flavor and a nice blend of sweet and spice. Overall, quite drinkable and enjoyable.

Taste of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, bread, caramel and a bare hint of pumpkin. Medium body and low carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured in reddish amber shade, clear with a small off white head. Aroma of malts, pumpkin and a bit of booze. Taste starts sweet and malty, some grain and towards the end the pumpkin pie and nutmeg taste hits you. Enjoyable and drinkable, not bad at all.

I must have gotten a crummy bottle. My beer was carbonated like a poor belgium beer because it was all head. Just ruined it from start to finish.

Aroma of nutmeg and bread and nuts. Appearance is a dark copper with a red tint and an off white head with avg head retention. Flavor tastes like pumpkin pie with nuts and bread. Some sweetness that dries out in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium with medium carbonation. Overall, it tastes like a good pumpkin pie. Well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer tastes more like I am eating a slice of pie then any other pumpkin spice beer I have had. The base beer style fits perfect to give that pie like feel and taste with the spice. Well done ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cool dark orange pour w/ absolutely no head or lacing. Aroma is a nice blend of fall spices. The taste is subtlety smooth w/ spices throughout. Solid in every way but nothing scream remarkable here.
