3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ Bel Air location in April 2008. Tastes and smells of coffee, chocolate, and bitter, roated malts. Nice balance of these elements, but not enough of them to make this one really outstanding. An enjoyable beer though.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft - Black pour with a tan head. A very nice aroma of chocolate and coffee. An excellent porter. Typically not my favorite style, this was excellent and full of sweet malt flavor.

Growler. This is some decent stuff. Roasty, chocolatey, malty, silky goodness. A fine porter that, thankfully, is one of their standard beers.

Color is dark with a cream head. Smelled like a stout. Taste was roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, and caramel. It was like guinness but stronger and with more flavor. A solid porter over all. I enjoyed it!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
One of my favorite porters ever. This is a fairly full bodied beer with a wonderful dark color, along with a thin dark head. I usually have it from tap. Pronounced coffee taste throughout the pint, flavor becomes more rich and unique as it nears cellar/room temp.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft, dark dark pour, I had this in nitro (nitrogen injected) and the regular draft. I definitely think the nitro was better, and noticeably different. Dark chocolate/moca flavor, with a roasted after tasted. Pretty good porter.

Seems like they just stopped on this one...It is a great brew with okay flavor, but falls short of my porter expectations. Well, it falls within my expectations, but not of my GREAT porters.

on tap-pours a dissipation tan head that laces and black color with red tint. Aroma is roasty, dark malt-chocolate/licorice, some cocoa powder/acidic. Taste is roasty, dark malt-chocolate/licorice, some cocoa powder/acidic/bitterness from hops. Medium/full body. Plenty of carbonation.
