2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 chriso (7065) - London, - FEB 22, 2011
On tap at Duclaw, Bowie on 14 July 2006. Mid gold colour. Smooth on the palate. Slight sweetness. Not a lot of bite. Not a lot of anything to be frank. Can’t complain too much though as it does what it’s intended to. Clean enough.

Eh, not an amazing blond ale but not terrible. Straw flavored with a bit of sweetness.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 sonnycheeba (821) - Fells Point, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 13, 2012
Draft. Pours clear, gold with thin off-white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is hardly there; mostly faint malt and yeast notes. Flavor is very bland, some caramel malt notes mid taste that help improve things. Light body, medium carbonation, and low warmth. Very inoffensive beer, just not much there to like.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 seekingup2 (80) - - DEC 12, 2011
Draft @ Duclaw Bel Air. This is deifnitely not my favorite of their beers. More for the people who dont like microbrews.

It seems that they tried to make a belgian beer without belgian yeast...this yeilded something like miller lite with a little more body. Also, it’s completely filtered, so it’s very thin. Almost no sweetness that you would expect from a belgian and very little aroma. I would not recommend it.

Not a great beer, if I want a weak gold beer I’ll reach for a Coors. Very weak, no body, hit of nuttiness and thats it.

This beer to me is Duclaws everyday drinker. Nothing special about it but very crisp and refreshing.

Not as stupefyingly bad as it could be. Pours golden with a fluffy white head that rapidly dissipates. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Has a slight nutty malt quality on the tongue. Not as crisp as I would hope for.

Reviewed from notes.
Pours a golden color with a white head and not too much lacing. Nose brings some grassy, grain, and slight floral hops. The taste is a mostly grain with some light grassy character. Light body with good carbonation. Drinks pretty well and actually has some flavor.
