COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name says it all! This unique brew comes in officially at 21.92% abv. This was accomplished by the use of 3 different strains of yeast and a lot of TLC. Technically an ale, but this monster has complex flavors and aromas that suggests characteristics of mead and fruit wines. Be sure to sample Colossus at several different temperatures including heated. That's right!...heat it up to about 105'F for yet another unique experience of flavors and aromas!

I had this beer a while back and from what I can remember I enjoyed it. I’ve had this at the pub/brewery so it was fresh. Nothing special about it is popping into my head at the moment.

Draft @ bel air location, and 22oz bottle. Definitely had a "liquor" aroma, as well as heavy spices. Very high alcohol content and to me it definitely tasted like it. Great for what it is, just not my style.

Poured 750ml into a chimay glass. Has a scotch color with no defined head. Notes of baked figs with strong notes of alcohol. The aroma translates to the taste. It goes downs surprising well given the high alcohol. This beer exhibits more complex and enjoyable favors has it gets closer to room temp.

Aged this bottle for 6 months. Pours a dark amber and looks magnificent. Aroma consisted of fruits and hops. When first tasting it I experienced vanilla, honey, fruits, and maybe some caramel. The alcohol is hidden extremely well but I could not have more then a glass or two for it is very sweet. Great beer for taste, not for drinking.
